WORKSHOPS/TRAINING

YABS strives to organise a number of workshops annually in collaboration with our partners geared at addressing actual challenges relating to networking, job orientation and tried and tested job interview skills. We usually feature professionals in their unique field of expertise to enrich and empower our participants. Generally invitations are sent on our facebook site, email and on our YABS website to all our members and interested parties. Do well to keep an eye on our upcoming activities so that you do not miss out on valuable events. 

NETWORK CONFERENCES

Annually, YABS organises two major events: our monthly Network & Chill and annual HUNGER FOR SUCCESS conference. 

Network & Chill is organised monthly in different cities all over Flanders and Brussels and we notify our members and interested parties on social media. It’s an opportunity to meet new people, socialise and share ideas about how to tackle the challenges of Africans in the diaspora.

Hunger For Success is our major event organised once a year to invite leading African entrepreneurs, students, professionals and organisations with affiliation to the promotion Euro-African cooperation. They come to inspire participants with their experiences and there is ample room for discussions and Q&A. Over the past two years, we have seen the conference growing in prominence and relevance. 

MENTORSHIPS/JOBS

Good mentorship is an indispensable part of the YABS mission to elevate Africans Diaspora Community. In the YABS community, there are many enthusiastic mentors that members can consult to get answers or guidance when they stumble or get stuck pursuing their ambitions.
